Our Work

This initiative is driven by a deep passion for empowering migrants and bridging the gap between health and humanity. With a personal connection to the migrant experience, the project is dedicated to raising funds to support migrants in transit through Mexico, ensuring they have access to essential resources and advocating for their rights.

Having personally navigated the challenges and vulnerabilities of being an undocumented migrant, the founder is committed to advocacy and activism, particularly in the areas of migration and health research. The funds raised will provide critical support to migrants, offering essential supplies such as water and hygiene products, as well as resources like information on migrant shelters, healthcare access, and more. These resources are vital for migrants to journey safely and with dignity.

The mission is grounded in the belief that every individual, regardless of immigration status, has inherent worth and humanity. This effort is not just about charity; it is about justice and standing in solidarity with vulnerable communities. By championing migrant rights, promoting health equity, and fostering a compassionate society, the project seeks to make a lasting difference in the lives of those in need.

I acknowledge that I am located on Indigenous land, specifically the Atakapa-Ishak, Tāp Pīlam Coahuiltecan, the Sana band of the Tonkawa tribe, and Karankawa nations, whose presence continues to enrich our vibrant community.  As a migrant, I feel privileged to share this land and respect the histories, languages, and cultures.
